The college basketball season is still more than 100 days away, but the program officially announced the team members for the upcoming season today. As you well know by now, Carolina does return four starters from last year’s team that made the national title game, before dropping to Kansas in the final. Those returning starters include super senior, Leaky Black, senior Armando Bacot, and junior backcourt mates Caleb Love, and R.J. Davis. While Carolina loses super senior Brady Manek, after he exhausted his college eligibility, they replace with him Northwestern transfer, Pete Nance who also happens to be a senior, who arrives in Chapel Hill after leading the Wildcats in 3 major categories last season.

While Carolina’s starting group is as experienced as any in the country, they will find themselves very youthful on the bench, returning junior Donovan “Puff” Johnson, sophomores in D’Marco Dunn and Dontrez Styles, redshirt freshman Will Shaver, and incoming freshmen Seth Trimble, Jalen Washington and Tyler Nickel.

The blue squad loses Ryan McAdoo who transferred out of the program earlier this off-season but does return Creighton Lebo, Duwe Farris Rob Landry, and Jackson Watkins, to complete the 17-man roster, that has its sight set on getting back to the Final Four in Houston and cutting down the nets on the final Monday of the season.
