The Tar Heels are continuing their quest to add some last minute help in the 2025 class.
As first reported by On3Sports, the Tar Heels landed 2025 unranked LB Lantz Pascal on Saturday afternoon. Pascal chose the Tar Heels over offers from Bowling Green, Bryant, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Temple, Texas A&M and West Virginia.
Pascal just finished his senior season at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, FL where he collected 35 total tackles, 3.0 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks, eight quarterback hurries, one pass defensed, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery. Last year, as a junior, he finished with 109 total tackles, 11.0 tackles for loss, 4.0 sacks, one pass defensed, one forced fumble and four fumble recoveries at Nova High School in Davie, FL.
With the commitment, the Tar Heels now have fifteen commitments in the 2025 class and their first from a linebacker. The class remains 69th overall and 17th in the ACC according to 247Sports Composite Team Rankings.
