The Tar Heels continue to add to a loaded group of transfer portal visitors for a week that will be very important when it comes to building Bill Belichick’s first roster. On Monday, the team added three more to the calendar, including one target who will visit campus tomorrow.

According to Pete Nakos of On3 Sports, Michigan State transfer wide receiver Aziah Johnson will be on campus in Chapel Hill tomorrow. He will have three years of eligibility remaining wherever he lands. The Tar Heels will have to compete with Kansas and Kansas State, the two schools that he visited late last week.

In his two seasons with the Spartans, Johnson played in 16 games, including all twelve this season. After not registering a single target last year, he caught 16 passes for 276 yards and two touchdowns and dropped just one pass on 25 targets this season.

This is the first wide receiver that the Tar Heels have expressed interest in during this transfer portal cycle and it makes sense with the three top contributors at this position this season departing.
