The Tar Heels have already hosted one official visit in the 2025 recruiting cycle and on Tuesday evening that lone prospect announced his decision.
2025 3✮ IOL Antoni Kade Ogumoro posted on his social media accounts earlier tonight that he is committing to Tennessee following the conclusion of his official visits. The Tar Heels hosted the former Jacksonville, NC native, who moved to Oklahoma this offseason, the final weekend of April, but didn’t clearly didn't impress the way Josh Heupel and the Volunteers did just a week later. He also took official trips to Oklahoma State and Missouri, the latter of which hosted him this past weekend.
Ogumoro would have been a nice addition to the Tar Heels offensive line class, especially on the interior of the unit, but the team is still in pretty good shape. The staff has already landed commitments from 4✮ OT Alex Payne and 3✮ IOL Trey Blue in this class and the room is very young with just five upperclassmen amongst the scholarship players.
As of right now, the staff is not in strong standing with any of the other players that they have offered in the class, meaning they may very well be done along the offensive line in this class.
