You know football season is right around the corner when individual game tickets go on sale. Earlier this morning, the program put out the release to announce those single-game sales one day prior to the starting fall practice.
The Tar Heels have seven home dates this year in Kenan Stadium, including a stretch in the middle of the season where they will play three straight in the friendly confines. The team’s home opener and home finale were already sold out prior to the single game tickets going on sale, meaning fans will have to go to the secondary market if they are wanting to attend. All five of the other games currently have tickets available, but they are selling fast.
The team has seen a major jump in ticket sales since Mack Brown returned, selling out every home game of both the 2019 and 2021 seasons. Season tickets are already sold out for this season and with two games already completely sold out on the primary market, it’s hard to imagine the program won’t accomplish that again in 2023.
