The Tar Heels attempted to enter the race for one of the top uncommitted running backs earlier this month, but that pursuit is over just two weeks after it started.
The Tar Heels extended an offer to 2025 3✮ RB Jasper Parker back on May 31st prior to the start of his official visit with the team.
This weekend, Parker headed to Ann Arbor for his official visit with the Michigan Wolverines. A strong visit was enough to seal the deal, as Parker announced via social media that he was committing to Sherrone Moore and company on Saturday night.
Parker’s commitment means that the Tar Heels’ focus is back on two other backs who have or will be officially visiting campus this month. 4✮ Jabree Wallace-Coleman took his visit in the middle of last week and the Tar Heel staff solidified themselves as a legitimate contender for his commitment. As for 3✮ Georgia commit Bo Walker, the staff will be hosting him this weekend to close out his official visit schedule before what will likely be a quick decision about a possible flip.
