The 2025 ACC Tournament officially fets started tomorrow in Charlotte, and that means the conference handed out awards for the 2024-25 regular season, which concluded over the weekend. The Tar Heels didn’t have the season that they had hoped to have, going 13-7 in ACC play, earning the #5 seed in this year’s event, but that didn’t stop multiple Tar Heels from earning all-conference honors.

Last season RJ Davis was the ACC Player of the Year, and while he wasn’t able to repeat as the winner of that award, he still earned second team All-ACC honors, despite many critics claiming he had a bad season. Davis led Carolina in scoring at over 17 points per game, and was one of three ACC players to be in the top 10 in scoring and assists. Davis was the leading vote getter of all second team members, where he was joined by Markus Burton (Notre Dame), Ian Schieffelin (Clemson), Kon Knueppel (Duke), and Jamir Watkins (Florida State).

Ian Jackson endured an up and down first season at North Carolina, being inserted into the starting lineup back in early January, before becoming a spark plug off the bench towards the end of the season. Despite his role not being defined until late February, Jackson was Carolina’s second leading scorer this season, earning him a spot on the All-Rookie team, joining Cooper Flagg (Duke), the aforementioned Knueppel (Duke), Jeremiah Wilkinson (California), and Khaman Malauch (Duke). Jackson is the 26th Tar Heel to earn All-Freshman honors, a year after Elliot Cadeau received them.
