The Tar Heels are pushing hard for one of the top interior offensive linemen in the Northeast in the 2026 class and on Thursday it was announced that he will be announcing his commitment tomorrow.

As first reported by Brian Dohn of 247Sports, 2026 3✮ IOL Anthony “Big U-Hall” Hall will reveal his college destination on Friday afternoon at 1:00 PM from his high school field house. The announcement will be streamed live on the 247Sports YouTube page.

Hall, who they call “Big U-Hall” because of his size at 6’4, 340 lbs., just finished his junior season at Dexter Southfield High School in Brookline, MA where he earned first team All-NEPSAC and All-Evergreen League honors. The previous year, as a sophomore, Hall earned an All-Evergreen honorable mention for his efforts.

The decision will be between the Tar Heels, Rutgers and Tennessee, the final three schools which he revealed last Thursday. Judging off of his comments to Dohn, it feels like the Tar Heels have the advantage here, but the Rivals forecasts disagree. All three of the predictions are in favor of Rutgers, but the good news is, those were all cast back in late January. Right now it feels like the momentum is heading in the Tar Heels directions and that they will land his commitment on Friday.
